#0YenTravel2025Autumn On our way back from Sedona to Las Vegas, we stopped in Seligman. The entire town has a retro vibe and is a popular photo spot. The classic car in front of a shop called Snow Cap was originally placed there for promotional purposes. Apparently, the producer of Cars was inspired by the car when he visited the shop, and Cars was born. It has since become a popular tourist destination. Route 66, known as America's "Mother Road," is a former national highway stretching approximately 3,755 km from Chicago, Illinois, to Santa Monica, California. Designated in 1926, it was once a major artery connecting the Midwest and West, but was abandoned in 1985 due to the development of expressways. It was beloved by many as a symbol of the American Dream. However, thanks to the efforts of those living along the road, it has now been partially restored as "Historic Route 66," and has become a popular driving route that attracts many tourists as America's "Mother Road." More and more people are visiting the area inspired by the TV show "Route 66" and the movie "Easy Rider." In recent years, the area has also become popular as the setting for the Pixar film "Cars."
