Ke Ren Lai JB 🍚

#johorbahruguide Ke Ren Lai serves some satisfyingly good Hakka cuisine and this is the place I head to if I am traveling to Johor Bahru Malaysia. The food may not be fully traditional Hakka, but it is still delicious with a modern twist and value for money. To name a few of their famous dishes, their hakka abacus is really yummy and has a slight chewy bites with bits of meat and vegetables. Their spicy Mala garlic pork slice dish comes sizzling in a claypot and this is for the spice lovers - it is hot, flavourful and so addictive. If you want something comforting, the pigs stomach soup is excellent, with generous serving of meat in it. Prices here are reasonable and what matters most is that these Hakka dishes are well executed. It's a 10/10 for Ke Ren Lai, do try it!
