World Heritage Site of Segovia, Spain

Segovia is an ancient city with a splendid history and culture of more than 2,000 years. It was originally a Celtic settlement, and was ruled by the Romans and Arabs before returning to the Christian world. Segovia is now a city in the autonomous region of Castile and León, Spain. It is the capital and most populous municipality of the Province of Segovia. The city is known for its historic architecture, including three main landmarks: the Loma Aqueduct in the ancient city center, the last cathedral built in the Gothic style in Europe, and the Alcazar of Segovia, which dates back to the Middle Ages and was the model for Disney's Cinderella Castle.
