King Street Station for traveling from Seattle to Portland!

To travel from Seattle to Portland, you can choose between bus, train, or plane. To experience train travel in the U.S., I decided to take the train from King Street Station. 📍98104 Washington, Seattle, USA There are some homeless people around the station, but it’s not scary. The train station itself is classic and charming. However, there’s no automated ticketing system, so staff manually write down seat numbers. The train is double-decked and larger than domestic trains, making it comfortable for travel. Inside the train, there’s a dining car and a viewing lounge, which made the journey enjoyable. The trip from Seattle to Portland took about 4 hours. It felt a bit long considering the distance, as a lot of time was spent at intermediate stops. If long-distance train travel in the U.S. seems daunting, the Seattle-Portland route is worth trying.
