Sabo Warabino (Fukuoka)

Sabo Warabino, located on the middle of Mount Wakasugi in Sasaguri-machi, Kasuya-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture, is loved by many people as a cafe with a spectacular view surrounded by nature. From the fully glassed interior, you can see the entire Fukuoka cityscape and Hakata Bay, and you can enjoy a sense of openness as if you are floating in the air. The beautiful scenery gives healing and inspiration to visitors.  The food is also attractive, and the especially popular lunch course (4,000 yen including tax) is a luxurious set of A5 rank Japanese black beef sirloin steak as the main dish, appetizers, seasonal vegetables, soup, pasta, bread, sweets, and drinks. In addition, you can enjoy a special cafe menu such as cold-brewed coffee that is extracted over half a day using spring water pumped from 220 meters underground, soy milk mochi with black honey and kinako, and honey vanilla matcha float.   The interior of the store has a sophisticated design, and you can spend a relaxing time while looking at the spectacular view from the sofa seats. It's the perfect place for a date, a girls' night out, or a special lunch or dinner. Business hours are from 10:00 to 21:00 (reservations required after 18:00), and lunch is served from 11:30 to 19:00.  You can get there by taxi from JR Sasaguri Station for around 1,700 yen, or by walking via the mountain trail, which takes about an hour and a half.
