Wat Sri Don Moon

Originally called Wat Kon Kuen, there is no evidence of when it was built. Because a herd of elephants came to find food and used it to pry open the many Buddha images in the temple until their faces fell down and the base of the Buddha images were lifted up. So it was called "Wat Kon Kuen" in the Lanna language. But it is assumed that it was built during the reign of King Tilokarat.
