Bluebird days & breathtaking views at Sapporo Teine!

Caught a perfect bluebird day at Sapporo Teine and it was absolutely magical. One of the most unique things about this resort is the view—where else can you ski or snowboard with the city of Sapporo on one side and the sea stretching out on the other? That mix of mountain, urban, and ocean scenery is something special. The slopes themselves were in great condition, with a good mix of beginner-friendly runs and steeper challenges for those who want a bit more thrill. Even just cruising down the mellow trails felt amazing with that clear blue sky and wide open views. If you're heading there from Sapporo city, it's super convenient: take a JR train from Sapporo Station to Teine Station (about 10–15 minutes), then from the south exit of the station, catch the shuttle bus that takes you straight to the resort—about a 25-minute ride. Smooth and easy, even with gear. Highly recommend making the trip if you're in Hokkaido during winter. Teine really gives you that “only in Japan” snow experience, with a view you won't forget.
