Saohai Temple

Wat Sao Hai was originally named Wat Pai Lom Noi, which is the same as the name of the village and sub-district. The word "Sao Hai" has a history that when the new city was built, the people of Saraburi sent a golden teak pole for consideration to build the main pillar of the city. However, it was not accepted because the end of the pole was crooked and not beautiful. Later, this pole sank into the Pa River in front of the temple. The villagers therefore called it the crying teak pole. Later, it was shortened to Sao Hai. Until 1958, there was a ceremony to water the pole from the Pa Sak River and bring it to Wat Sung, which is nearby. #Get a discount without relying on luck
