Sanya Nanshan Temple Family Relaxation Guide ~ A Relaxing Two-Day, One-Night Blessing Trip

🌊We spent two days and one night at Nanshan Temple, and although the itinerary wasn't particularly packed, it felt incredibly comfortable!😌 We arrived at noon, and after dropping off our luggage, it was already past lunchtime. We really wanted to eat some vegetarian food, so the hotel kindly reminded us to call and check availability. We quickly contacted two restaurants we had in mind; one was closed for lunch break, and the other only had set meals. So, we rushed to the restaurant that still had set meals and enjoyed a delicious vegetarian feast!🍽️ 🌊After lunch, we strolled around the scenic area and visited the Nanshan International Intangible Cultural Heritage Center, where we took lots of photos!📸 There were also many ancient bells on the nearby lawn, which had a strong sense of history and were perfect for photo ops! 🔔 🌊The most unforgettable moment was seeing the illuminated Guanyin statue at night. It was absolutely stunning! The next morning, we also saw the sunrise next to the Guanyin statue, and at that moment, we felt that the trip was truly worthwhile!🌅 🌟Must-see highlights not to be missed: 108-meter Guanyin Statue: Climbing to the top to "hug Buddha's feet" requires walking up 7 floors, but the panoramic view of the South China Sea is breathtaking! On the left side of Yuantong Hall, you can get a free 50kg consecrated lucky stamp. Photography is prohibited inside the hall, so it's best to focus on praying. For a sea view, we recommend taking a yacht around the Guanyin statue. The observation deck near the Buddha's hand is a perfect photo spot. 🌊After lunch on the second day, we went to touch the Guanyin's feet, and there were so many people! We recommend arriving early if you want to do this!👣 Afterward, we went to Longevity Valley, which was very quiet and peaceful. We hiked and breathed in the fresh air, feeling both physically and mentally relaxed!🌳 🌊We walked and used the hotel's sightseeing bus throughout the trip, focusing on a relaxed and comfortable experience! So, we didn't go to many places, but every place we visited left a lasting impression.🚶‍♀️🚗 The distance between attractions is quite far, so we recommend taking the small train! This way, you can enjoy the scenery with less effort!🚂 🚌 Transportation and ticket tips: Tickets are 129 yuan/person during peak season and 108 yuan during off-season; navigate to "Nanshan P3 parking lot" if driving; the 30-yuan sightseeing bus is a must-buy, as the route is very practical! ⚠️ Things to avoid: Don't buy incense from outside vendors, as each hall provides free incense; dress appropriately, as backless tops and short skirts are not allowed in the Buddhist halls; luggage storage is available, but entry to the park stops at 5pm. ✨ Hidden perks: You can copy scriptures, have your fortune told, collect Buddha cards, and get lucky stamps for free; staying overnight at the scenic area hotel grants you VIP access + a view of the illuminated Guanyin statue at night.
