Three must-see churches in Fira, Santorini

The pure white church walls, blue dome, bell tower and the azure Aegean Sea can be included in the picture at the same time. Figure 2. Candlemas Holy Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral of Thira The Orthodox Cathedral is located in the south of the town of Fira. It has a very conspicuous geographical location and can be seen from many viewpoints on the island. Built in 1827, the church is striking for its pure white exterior, with fascinating mosaics, spectacular arches, and bell tower. Figure 3. Catholic Church of Saint: The exterior walls of the Catholic Cathedral are painted in macaron-style orange, blue and light goose yellow, while the dome is not painted in any conspicuous color, but in a low-key white. In addition to these three churches, other places are also good for taking pictures. We walked around the town of Fira and took pictures everywhere for a whole day, and finally had dinner at the famous Mama's restaurant (Figure 8).
