#postandearn My 2-Day Solo Trip to Sapa, Vietnam Sapa was truly a peaceful escape and one of the most memorable solo trips I’ve ever taken. I stayed at Pistachio Hotel Sapa, and from the moment I arrived, I felt relaxed and welcomed. The hotel itself is beautiful—stylish rooms, great service, and most importantly, stunning views of the mountains and rice terraces right from the balcony and rooftop pool. On the first day, I spent time walking around the town. The cool mountain air was refreshing, and I enjoyed just wandering the quiet streets, visiting the Sapa Stone Church, and checking out the local markets. I found a cozy little café where I could sit and watch the mist slowly roll through the hills. No guide, no rush—just peaceful exploring. The second day was the highlight of my trip: a visit to Fansipan, the highest mountain in Indochina. I took the cable car all the way up, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. As we climbed above the clouds, it felt like another world. At the top, the wind was strong and the air was chilly, but the view made everything worth it. The massive Buddha statue and the mountain temple added a calm, spiritual feeling to the experience. Traveling without a guide gave me freedom. I could move at my own pace, stop whenever I wanted, and just enjoy the moment. I also appreciated how helpful and kind the locals were, even when I didn’t speak Vietnamese. Sapa is quiet, fresh, and full of beauty. Whether you’re going solo or with friends, it’s a perfect destination for slowing down and reconnecting with nature.
