Paradise Found: Your Private Slice of the Shore"

didn’t plan it. I just needed out. Out of the noise, the routine, the same walls. I packed light, barely told anyone, and just left. Manila was loud, my mind was louder, and I couldn’t hear myself anymore. Zambales felt like a breath I forgot I was holding. I took a random van, no itinerary, no expectations. First stop? San Antonio. That boat ride to Anawangin Cove—man, that felt like a reset. Trees I didn’t expect, sand between my toes, no signal. I didn’t even check my phone. I just... existed. We slept in tents, laughed at stupid jokes, grilled fish like we knew what we were doing. And when the sky turned orange and the waves slowed down? That silence hit me. Like the world paused just long enough for me to catch up with myself. Next day, we drifted to Nagsasa Cove—quieter, wider, deeper. The kind of place where you start thinking about life stuff you’ve been avoiding. It felt raw. Healing. Not in a cheesy, Instagram way—but in a “yo, I forgot I could feel this calm” way. I even took the hike to Mount Pinatubo—not gonna lie, it kicked my ass. But the view? That crater lake just sat there like it knew the world was heavy and it was offering peace in a different language. I didn’t speak it, but I felt it. Zambales didn’t fix me. But it gave me space. It let me step back and remember what it’s like to be instead of always doing. #zambales #travel #naturalwonders

Anawangin Cove

A decade ago, Anawangin Cove was where you should go if you wanted to be alone on the beach. But that’s not the case anymore. Anawangin’s popularity skyrocketed over the years, and it’s not hard to see why. Its coast is strewn with volcanic ash, spewed by Mt. Pinatubo in 1991, and then shaded by towering agoho trees, a type of casuarina tree that thrives by the shore. This combination, while not unique, is far from the usual beach landscape in the country. All this is magnified by its proximity to the capital, Manila, just 5 hours away. The view from the southern hill that separates the main beach from another beach. If you’re facing the sea, simply follow the shore to your left and you will reach a trail up a hill. Climb to the top and you’ll have a fantastic panoramic view of the area. #newphotographer#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear
