It's Hallstatt 🇦🇹 Ten years ago, I was stunned by the beauty of the Alps in Switzerland ⛰️ In a snowy, fairytale-like town, I didn't know where to look, because everywhere was beautiful. This year, I experienced autumn on the other side of the Alps 🍂 Austria's lake district truly doesn't fall short. I booked a one-day round trip tour from Vienna to Hallstatt a day in advance. The next day, after gathering, the tour leader checked names and nationalities on the bus. Over forty tourists, surprisingly came from over twenty different countries. It felt like a global village team-building event, haha 🌍 The scenery along the way was dynamic. The lake water and mountain colors blended into an indescribable blue-green gradient. The lake district is truly perfect for a road trip 🚗 Hallstatt isn't big. The food selection isn't extensive, but surprisingly, it tastes very good. Prices aren't high compared to the surrounding areas. Even a brief exploration left me with endless fondness. I'll save a deeper dive for next time.
