The 100-day festival is divided into three seasons: spring, summer, and fall, and you can experience the charm of Setouchi in each season. During the festival, about one million people from Japan and abroad visit, making it one of Japan's leading international art festivals. This time, I visited the Seijima area! This quiet and tranquil area is dotted with works that gently blend nature, abandoned schools, unused facilities, and art. It was amazing to see the scenery change every time you walk...! By the way: Parking is available near most venues. There is also a circular bus dedicated to the festival, so you can travel safely.
