"Entrance to Hikawa Shrine" in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. A surprisingly modest entrance.

The "Entrance to Hikawa Shrine" is surprisingly modest considering it has a history dating back 1200 years. From here, the approximately 2km approach to the shrine begins. This entrance is between Omiya Station and Saitama Shintoshin Station, so few people start walking from the entrance, and most people probably start from around Omiya Station. If you go through Hikawa Shrine and through Omiya Park, it's about a 6km walking course🚶‍♀️. You can either go back, or walk to the Moriminuma Citizens' Green Center and then to Toro Station or Higashi-Omiya Station, which will be about 10km of "exercise"🚶🏻. If you take in the scenery and take breaks, it's a 3-hour course, but there is a lot of greenery and it's refreshing!!
