Saint Malo, a pirate town

Saint-Malo is a coastal city in the Brittany region of northwestern France. In the 17th century, it was called Corsaire, and it was a pirate town. They plundered goods from other countries and paid tribute to the government, so the government recognized them and they prospered as the largest coastal city in France. On the other hand, it is also called a walled city because the entire town was surrounded by walls and fortified. The remnants of these walls now give it a very charming appearance. It would be hard to find an atmosphere like this anywhere in France. Walking along the walls while listening to music and looking at the sea and buildings makes me feel good. The wall walk here is a special attraction that can only be felt in Saint-Malo. If you are traveling to northwestern France, try traveling in three parts: Honfleur, Saint-Malo, and Mont Saint-Michel.
