It's an artificial reservoir, but it's as beautiful as a foreign pond.

📍Kanehisa Pond Also known as Ikenouchi Pond, it is located at the foot of a mountain in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, facing the Seto Inland Sea. It is a reservoir built in 1791 for irrigation purposes, and with a storage capacity of 460,000 tons, it is the largest reservoir in the Saijo area. There are parking lots and promenades around it, and it has a great view of the Ishizuchi mountain range, and in spring people come to enjoy cherry blossoms and strolls. It may be a hidden gem that many people don't know about yet. Currently, it is managed by the Dozen Plain Land Improvement District, and is effectively used as a regulating pond for the Omogo Dam. #0yentripFebruary2025
