Primorsky Oceanarium

The largest oceanarium in Russia is located in Vladivostok! More than 15,000 species of animals can be found here. Penguins, sharks and piranhas! And here belugas, walrus Misha and dolphins will show an unforgettable performance!📍Address:From the center you can get there by bus 11 and 15, from the second river - by bus 77. In any case, transport goes only to the checkpoint, through which only employees with passes are allowed. Regular visitors, like us, can go to the bus stop, from where a free bus leaves every 15 minutes, which will take you directly to the oceanarium. Or you can walk, it's about 20 minutes to the oceanarium at a fast pace. It's worth arriving early and walking around the oceanarium. #vladivostok

Russky Island

Vladivostok is a city in the Russian Far East. It gets really cold in winter so I recommend to plan your trip to Vladivostok from May till September. ✈️ Getting There - Vladivostok is located near Japan, China and Korea so pretty much the only way to get there is by plane. Vladivostok has an airport express train that will take you straight to Vladivostok’s city center, another perk is that the train passes by great sceneries. 🎠 Attractions - My favorite place to visit in Vladivostok is the aquarium on the Russian island, it has a lot of interesting fish and animals in there and the area outside the aquarium is just wonderful, it is right by the seaside. Another great place to visit is the Tokarevski Lighthouse. When the tide is low, the shallow path appears which you can use to walk to the lighthouse. You can walk along the seaside and the riverside, rent a longboard or a bicycle 🚲 at Naberezhnaya Tsesarevicha. You can visit Vladivostok’s surf camp and learn surfing or just rent a standup paddle. You can visit Russian theater and absorb local culture. 🥞 Food & Restaurants - Russian food is amazing, there are a lot of great restaurants with good service. Don’t forget it is in the culture to tip the waiter 15-20% in Russia. Start with having Russian pancakes for breakfast, they are called Blini, they are often served with condensed milk or they are stuffed with cottage cheese, potatoes, meat, cabbage. The next dish to try is Sirniki, it’s some sort of pancakes made of cottage cheese often served with sour cream. There are a lot of dinner dishes in Russia, it would take me dozens of pages to name them all, just prepare your stomach to eat a lot in Russia because it’s just so good 😍😍😍 Enjoy your trip to Russia and don’t freeze if you decide to go in Winter ❄️ #russia #vladivostok #travel #vacation #citytour #travelling #holidays #food #city #citycenter #island #passionpassport
