On the edge of continental Europe, Rovinj, Croatia, is like a lost pearl on the Adriatic coast, exuding a captivating charm. I embarked on a dreamy 4-day, 3-night journey here, immersing myself in every moment. Day 1: First Encounter with Rovinj Upon arrival in Rovinj, the sun was shining brightly. I strolled along the stone-paved streets with my luggage, the sea breeze gently caressing my face with its salty scent. After checking in to my seaside guesthouse, I opened the window to a breathtaking view of the azure sea and the scattered red-roofed houses, resembling a vibrant oil painting. In the afternoon, I visited St. Euphemia Church. Perched on a hill in the town center, the white building shone with a sacred glow under the sunlight. From the top of the church, the panoramic view of Rovinj unfolded before me—red-tiled, white-walled buildings clustered together, contrasting beautifully with the blue sea, a sight that took my breath away. In the evening, I savored local delicacies at a seaside restaurant. Freshly caught seafood, simply cooked, brought out the deliciousness of the sea to the fullest.
