Stunning church in Rouen

#westerneurope #europe #normandy #rouen I visited the Church of Joan of Arc in Rouen recently, and it surely was worth it. Right outside, there’s a cross in the yard marking the exact spot where she was burned. It’s kind of chilling to stand there, knowing what happened. The church itself looks super modern from the outside, but inside it’s calm and beautiful. The stained glass windows are incredible—way more detailed and colorful than I expected. I didn’t go in with big expectations, but I ended up spending quite a bit of time there. Definitely worth seeing if you're in Rouen. Tip: it is open every day and admission is free!
