I stayed at the Guizhou Village Super League Hotel (Rongjiang Village Super League Stadium Branch), which is in a great location with many attractions nearby. After visiting Rongjiang, the front desk staff recommended that I visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, which was amazing. 🌙Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village at night is like a real-life version of Spirited Away. When the lights come on, the whole village is lit up like a million stars have fallen to earth. From a high vantage point, the stilted buildings are dreamlike in the light, like something from a fairy tale. Here are some tips for visiting Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. 🚗Transportation: I took a bus from Rongjiang to Kaili, and then a direct bus from Kaili South Station to the village (CNY 25 per person). If you are driving, you can navigate directly to the village, which has a parking lot. 🎫Tickets: Tickets + sightseeing bus tickets are CNY 110 per person. The sightseeing bus has 4 stops, covering important attractions. 🍱Food: Sour fish soup is fresh and appetizing. I recommend Lao Teng Fish Restaurant. Don't miss the colorful glutinous rice and potato cakes. The long table banquet is more about the atmosphere, as the food is quite ordinary. 📸Photography: The rural scenery during the day is beautiful, and you can wear ethnic costumes for photos. At night, the view from the viewing platform is stunning, and the night view of the Wind and Rain Bridge and the lanterns by the river is beautiful. Don't rent costumes on the ancient street.
