With over a thousand years of history intertwined here, the grandeur is truly awe-inspiring 🙌. By purchasing a ticket to enter, you can explore all the way up to the top platform 🪜. From this vantage point, you can not only admire the fortress's robust architecture and exhibitions up close but also enjoy breathtaking views of the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica 🌇. Many people recommend visiting Castel Sant'Angelo at sunset, when the golden rays illuminate the river and the stone bridge, creating an incredibly romantic atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was drizzling on the day of our visit 😆.
