Rome

#mediterranean Trastevere, Smoke & Citrus Address – Vicolo della Scala, tucked behind Santa Maria in Trastevere Highlights – We wandered without meaning to just letting the alleys decide. Somewhere between orange trees and peeling frescoes, we found that little trattoria with the ivy-draped awning. You remembered it from last time; I remembered the way your shoulders relaxed once we sat down. The owner still doesn’t use menus. He brought us whatever was hot and good: cacio e pepe, grilled artichokes, wine that tasted like sunburn. A radio played something old and scratchy inside. Around us, people weren’t rushing anywhere. We stayed until the candles melted flat. Vibe Match – Like returning to a dream that remembered you back: warm, worn-in, quietly magical. Rating Suggestion – 9.3/10 Janiculum Hill, Gold & Ghosts Address – Passeggiata del Gianicolo, overlooking the city from the west Highlights – We climbed up late not for the view, exactly, but for the breath. The air got thinner, lighter, less certain. Rome unfolded beneath us like a map we once knew by heart: domes and ruins and the Tiber threading through it all. The cannon fired at noon, but we weren’t there for that — we came for the hour after, when everything holds its breath again. Couples leaned on railings. Kids kicked a ball into the shade. You pointed to a rooftop and said we’d stayed there, years ago. Maybe we had. Maybe we just wanted to believe we had. Vibe Match – Like remembering something you never lived, but miss anyway: distant, golden, steeped in silence. Rating Suggestion – 9.1/10

[🇮🇹 Hidden spots in Rome recommended by an Italian exchange student!!] A perfect place to watch the sunset!! (A highly recommended date course!!)🌅🍀 (No Koreans & tourists, be careful⭐️) Location: Gianicolo Hill🌳 A place I went to after being recommended by a local friend in Rome. It's not a famous tourist destination, and there aren't many big things to see like the Colosseum or the Pantheon, but it's a place where you can quietly observe how Romans relax, and comfortably watch the sunset~♥️ Since they were selling cotton candy in front, I like sweet things, so I bought one right away, and no one else was eating cotton candy, but they all of a sudden started buying it one after another ㅎㅎ I felt proud for no reason☺️ It was a place where I could really enjoy the scenery comfortably without worrying about what other people thought! I went in January, and it wasn't too cold and it was pleasantly cool, so If you're going to Rome for a long time, I recommend this place! 👍👍 (Of course it's cold in January! It's just less cold than Korea ㅎㅎ) For those who stop by the Trestevere district for the flea market, How about sitting at the nearby Giannicolo and having a beer with some gentle busking? 🍺 #WinterTravel #Selfie #SpringFlowerViewing #HappyNewYear #TravelGuideBook #NewYearTravel #ChristmasTravel #NextTimeHere #SpringIsHere #2019Travel #LifeShotSpot #LifeTravelDestination #NewYear #InstaHotPlace #YearEndTravel #Couple #VacationTravel #SafeTravel #HappyNewYear #CityTravel
