[Rome, Italy] American Academy on Janiculum Hill

#0yentripnovember I went to the American Academy on the Janiculum Hill in Rome. This is a foundation that supports artists through private donations. Scholarship recipients recommended and selected from around the world, including the US, live here for 11 months, while working on research, creating and presenting their works. Unfortunately, there are no scholarship recipients from Asia yet. The scholarship recipients are a diverse group, from well-known individuals to children, and come from a variety of artistic fields, including architects, musicians, and painters. The city of Rome and the country of Italy will give them something new. It is also interesting that they hold presentations almost every week. Every time I look at the photo, I wonder if this barista actually exists, as the bar looks like a scene from a movie. So, just being able to drink the cappuccino he made for me made it worth coming to the American Academy. In the garden of the American Academy, organic vegetables and olives that can be used in cooking are grown on the farm, which sparked my imagination as to what kind of food they eat every day. ・ After all, the food here is managed by a project team led by Alice Waters of Chez Panisse! They also have an internship program, and they support the path to becoming a chef. The granola they sold was delicious. I wish I had bought more. ・ ACCADEMIA AMERICANA American Academy in Rome Reservations required

[🇮🇹 Hidden spots in Rome recommended by an Italian exchange student!!] A perfect place to watch the sunset!! (A highly recommended date course!!)🌅🍀 (No Koreans & tourists, be careful⭐️) Location: Gianicolo Hill🌳 A place I went to after being recommended by a local friend in Rome. It's not a famous tourist destination, and there aren't many big things to see like the Colosseum or the Pantheon, but it's a place where you can quietly observe how Romans relax, and comfortably watch the sunset~♥️ Since they were selling cotton candy in front, I like sweet things, so I bought one right away, and no one else was eating cotton candy, but they all of a sudden started buying it one after another ㅎㅎ I felt proud for no reason☺️ It was a place where I could really enjoy the scenery comfortably without worrying about what other people thought! I went in January, and it wasn't too cold and it was pleasantly cool, so If you're going to Rome for a long time, I recommend this place! 👍👍 (Of course it's cold in January! It's just less cold than Korea ㅎㅎ) For those who stop by the Trestevere district for the flea market, How about sitting at the nearby Giannicolo and having a beer with some gentle busking? 🍺 #WinterTravel #Selfie #SpringFlowerViewing #HappyNewYear #TravelGuideBook #NewYearTravel #ChristmasTravel #NextTimeHere #SpringIsHere #2019Travel #LifeShotSpot #LifeTravelDestination #NewYear #InstaHotPlace #YearEndTravel #Couple #VacationTravel #SafeTravel #HappyNewYear #CityTravel
