Thingvellir | Iceland's first national park | Home of the Icelandic Parliament

Thingvellir National Park is Iceland's first national park, about 40km from Reykjavik. This was once the seat of the Icelandic Parliament (Alþingi), one of the oldest parliaments in the world. There are scenic trails and observation decks in the park built for the safety of tourists. Just walk along the trails, and you can take in the beautiful scenery in the park. #bucketlist#tbt
