Episode 8: Qinglan Geopark

📍 Qinglan Geopark (青岚怪臼谷国家地质公园) Qinglan Geological Park This park seems to be an educational spot as there were many children on a field trip when I visited. So, what can you do here? ✅️ Paddle boat rides ✅️ Nature trails with waterfalls and caves ✅️ Shops selling snacks and drinks, and game booths 💰 Costs: Entrance fee 60 CNY 🚂 Train ride back to the park entrance costs 10 CNY. Tickets can be purchased at the shop near the train station (or you can walk, but it’s quite far). Note: We hired a car for a day trip. We found a Didi driver in Chaozhou who agreed to take us to Shantou and back. After negotiating, the price was settled at 500 CNY with no extra charges. ⭐️ Places to visit on a 1-day trip: Daoyunlou and Qinglan Glacier Geopark 📍 Address: Raoping, Chaozhou Travel independently, visa-free in 2024.
