Hassan Tower is an ancient building of great historical and cultural significance located in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. It was commissioned by the Almohad Caliph Abu Yusuf Yaqub in 1195, and was originally intended to be the largest mosque in the world. However, the project was halted due to the death of the caliph, and the tower was left unfinished. Despite this, Hassan Tower remains an important landmark in Morocco, with its 44-meter-high red sandstone tower well-preserved, and the surrounding stone columns serving as remnants of the unfinished mosque, bearing witness to Morocco's glorious history and architectural artistry.
