Aglipay Caves

Aglipay Caves is located in the Municipality of Aglipay in Quirino Province. About the Caves: There are 3 caves. The largest one is a short ways up the hill, flashlight provided by the guide will be needed. The other 2 caves are about 100 meters walk through the jungle from the exit of the large cave. The entrance to the second cave is fairly small and the guide will warn you that there will be place where you must "duck walk" to get under low hanging rock clefts. IF you are physically able to squeeze through tight areas and don't mind a little bat guano on your hands, the 2nd and third caves (rarely seen due to most visitors not wanting to brave the small entrance and short jungle trek) are quite amazing. The guide may share some local lore about a treasure myth regarding Spanish gold dug up in the 1980's (lore only - but fun story). Otherwise, many bats, stalactites etc.
