Quanzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum: A Splendid Palace of Millennial Heritage

The Quanzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum is located in the Quanzhou Overseas Chinese Sports Center, covering a building area of over 9,000 square meters and an exhibition area of over 6,500 square meters. It features exhibition areas on the second, third, fourth, and fifth floors, with 15 workshops and an interactive stage. ✅Intangible Cultural Heritage Projects: The Quanzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum houses numerous intangible cultural heritage projects. According to incomplete statistics, there are around 36 intangible cultural heritage projects, with 22 physical exhibits. The main categories and specific projects include: 1. Treasures of Nature and Folk Art: Hui'an stone carving, Quanzhou paper cutting, Jiangjia walking puppet head carving, Quanzhou wood carving, Yongchun paper weaving painting, Quanzhou paper crafting, Quanzhou color decoration, sugar figurine making, Quanzhou lanterns, pith paper painting, and Quanzhou pyrography. 2. Folk Customs and Southern Fujian Charm: Min-Taiwan cross-strait ferry, Anhai Suoluo chant, Xunpu women's customs, Hui'an women's customs, Laofan Zhi ballads, Lingyuan Wanying tea, Five Ancestors Fist, chest-beating dance, Lantern Festival customs, Qingshui Zushi beliefs, Nan'an Yingdu BABA lanterns, Min-Taiwan Dongshi lantern customs, Huodinggong and Huodingpo deities, and lion dance. 3. Sounds of Quanzhou, Echoes of Jin and Tang Dynasties: The Legend of Chen San Wu Niang, the legend of Quanzhou Southern Shaolin, Nanyin music, Beiguan music, Liyuan Opera, Gaojia Opera, Dacheng Opera, Southern Puppet Show, Quanzhou marionette show, and Minnan storytelling. 4.
