Visit Feifeng Mountain in Hsinchu County

It is named because its shape resembles a flying phoenix stretching its neck and about to fold its wings to descend. The mountain is planted with white plum, azalea and poinciana, and the mountain's appearance changes with the change of seasons. There are famous scenic spots such as Yungu Temple and Daiquan Hall in the mountain area. The flamboyant trees planted all over Feifeng Mountain are bright red in summer and snow-white in winter when the plum blossoms are in full bloom. Feifeng Mountain has been listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Hsinchu County since ancient times. There is a trail built by the county government on the back mountain where you can go hiking, outing, and view the scenery. There are several pavilions along the way to Feifeng Mountain. The first pavilion is at an altitude of about 322 meters. It takes about 1.5 hours to walk to the third pavilion.
