Great hotel, Grand Mercure Hotel Qingdao

the rooms were clean and bigger than I expected, with a large balcony facing the sea - huge plus. However lack of internal amenities, wondered why they called it a resort. Compared to a resort in Bali or Phuket, this is a HUGE difference. It’s situated opposite the international expo center, other than that the location is remote, with no shops on the same street - more for business visitors. Room service and breakfast alright, nothing to complain. The problem is that there are no restaurants or convenience stores around so I have to buy a convenience store in advance and there are a few things too expensive. and the rain is so damp it is a damp bedding. #christmasgiveaway #mapletrees #luxuryhotel #skiing #unforgettableexperiences
