Great hotel room, InterContinental Qingdao

Very good hotel. Has a very nice room with a separate shower and bathtub. The room has a 42 "LED TV and a Bose 1-2-3 system, to which you can also connect your cell phone (cables are available in the room). The gym has 6 treadmills, cross trainers, ergometers, stretching room, strength Equipment and swimming pool (25m lane). The gym is tidy, but looks more functional than inviting (my personal impression). Once I was in the restaurant for a buffet. The dining room is very large and due to the huge group of people, the atmosphere came close to a canteen. There was plenty of everything! (Sushi, salad bar, western cuisine, Asian cuisine, fruit and desserts) The food was good, the drinks included in the price (beer and soft drinks, coffee, tea). From about 8.30 p.m. I had the feeling that nothing was refilled. A soup e.g. was cold. Finally, I went to the Venu Bar on the 21st floor. There are stairs up to an "exclusive area", but there is a cover charge of 2,000 RMB (approx. 275 €). Under this gallery it is also ok, only the view is limited. Here, and that was the only place in the hotel, the staff were a bit, let's say awkward. You had to get your own beer, with ginger ale there was only ice on request.
