It was a trip to Qianjiang, China 🇨🇳 It is a charming city known for its beautiful water towns, delicious crayfish, and serene nature. We started our day at Cao Yu Memorial Hall, dedicated to Cao Yu, one of China’s greatest playwrights, who was born in Qianjiang. The museum is located in a traditional Jiangnan-style courtyard, with white walls, black-tiled roofs, and peaceful gardens 🌺 a perfect place for capturing elegant photos 📸 Inside, we explored exhibits on Cao Yu’s life and literary works, giving us a deeper understanding of Chinese modern theater. I would recommend visiting before 10 AM, when the soft morning light enhances the classical architecture ✨ 📍No. 34 Cao Yu Road, Qianjiang, Hubei, China No trip to Qianjiang is complete without tasting its famous crayfish! Known as the “Crayfish Capital of China,” Qianjiang offers some of the freshest and most flavorful crayfish dishes 🥘 We visited Crayfish Street, where local restaurants serve spicy, garlic, and butter-flavored crayfish, along with other delicious seafood 🦞 dishes. 📍Crayfish Street, Qianjiang, Hubei, China We also visited Shenghong Pagoda, a beautiful Buddhist site surrounded by peaceful gardens 🌺 and a large pond. The multi-tiered pagoda with intricate carvings is a fantastic spot for cultural photography 📸 One of the best shots is from the bridge leading to the pagoda, where you can capture the reflection of the structure in the water. I would recommend arriving around 2 PM, when the sunlight makes the golden rooftop shine beautifully ✨ 📍Shenghong Temple, Qianjiang, Hubei, China We then took a relaxing walk along the Jianghan Canal, a picturesque waterway lined with willow trees 🌳 stone bridges, and charming pavilions. The best time for photos is during sunset, when the golden light ✨ reflects off the water, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. We found a great photo spot 📸 near the arched bridge, where the traditional architecture and soft lighting made for a perfect shot ✨ I would recommend arriving around 5:30 PM to capture the best colors in the sky ⛅️ 📍Jianghan Canal, Qianjiang, Hubei, China #discoverchina #travel #vacation
