The tomb of Prince Zhanghuai is 180 meters long and 143 meters wide. The mound is in the shape of a funnel, with a square base, a side length of 43 meters and a height of 18 meters. The underground palace is 71 meters long, 3.3 meters wide and 7 meters deep. More than 600 cultural relics, including murals, painted pottery figurines, tri-color ware, ceramics and stone carvings, were unearthed from the tomb of Prince Zhanghuai, providing relatively important physical materials for the study of Tang Dynasty history, culture and art. On March 4, 1961, Qianling Mausoleum, including the Tomb of Prince Zhanghuai, was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
