Shihe'an Village

Shihe'an Village is located on the north bank of the Qi River in Qixian County, Hebi City. It is home to two well-preserved Yangshao culture sites, which were announced as provincial key cultural relics protection units in 1963. The village is named after the colorful pebbles (blue, gray, yellow, red, black, and white) that cover the riverbed. During the Wanli period of the Ming dynasty, the Shen family moved here, and gradually became a prosperous family through farming and fishing. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Shen family still owned the mansion, which is rare in the Central Plains. The current owner is the seventh-generation grandson of the Shen family.
