🌿Guling Mountain Golden Grassland, adjacent to the Guling Mountain Scenic Area in Qixian, Hebi, is a vast green land on the top of the mountain. On this grassland, there is a place called Digu Ridge, where horses, sheep, and cattle are raised, reminiscent of the pastoral scenery of 'wind blowing through the grass, cattle and sheep appearing and disappearing'. 🌿Guling Mountain, located in the majestic Taihang Mountains, has been a gathering place for immortals since ancient times, enjoying the elegant name of 'Lingshan surrounds the ancient temple, and the divine spring purifies the dusty heart'. This place was once the summer palace of King Zhou of Shang, with a profound historical heritage. 🌿This place belongs to Qixian, historically known as Chaoge, the capital of the late Shang Dynasty, where relics from the era of King Zhou can be seen everywhere. As one of the important birthplaces of traditional Chinese culture, the chapters of the Book of Songs, especially the part of Weifeng, contain delicate descriptions of the scenery of this land. 🌿The hiking trip will pass through Qingliang Temple, where a clear spring flows down between the cliffs behind the temple, forming a spectacular waterfall. The sound of water echoes in the valley, like the singing of dragons and tigers, captivating people. Among the scattered rocks in the mountain stream, the trickling water is crisp and pleasant. On the west side of the stone arch bridge, surrounded by cliffs, there are six stone caves, with exquisite carvings inside, and the cliff inscriptions tell stories of the past. 🌿Overview of the itinerary: The total distance is about eight kilometers, with a cumulative ascent of about two hundred meters. The route is designed to be easy and pleasant, with no major challenges, making it ideal for photography enthusiasts, hiking beginners, and children over five years old. The scenery along the way is beautiful, with a gentle breeze, making people feel relaxed and happy. 🌿Schedule: Gather and depart from Zhengzhou city in the early morning, expected to arrive at the starting point Qingliang Temple around 9:30 am. Then climb to Guling Mountain along the back mountain path, with a wide view and pleasant scenery at the top. After lunch, enjoy tea and chat on the mountain top, sunbathe, or experience horse riding and kite flying on the Digu Ridge grassland. After a short rest, start descending around 2 pm, and arrive at Zhaozhuang Ancient Town, the birthplace of Caishen culture, around 3 pm. Then depart for Zhengzhou at 4 pm, expected to arrive in the evening around 6 pm. On the way, you can taste authentic farmhouse pot dishes (including crispy meat, meatballs, tofu, kelp, bean sprouts, cabbage, vermicelli, etc.), served with steamed buns, 15 yuan per person, all you can eat.
