Self-driving on Yizhao Highway

This year, the Yizhao Highway opened earlier than usual. Locals told us that this road is nicknamed the "Mini Duku Highway" and highly recommended it for a self-driving trip to experience the unique "four seasons in one day". On May 23, we drove along the highway and found the scenery along the way truly stunning. There are several scenic stops set up along the road, and in some sections, you can even spot remnants of snow by the roadside. However, the snow on the mountain peaks has mostly melted. When we reached the highest observation deck, the parking lot was already full. Otherwise, from the observation deck, you should be able to see the undulating valleys. For those eager to experience "four seasons in one day" before the Duku Highway officially opens, this route is worth considering. Near Zhaosu, there are additional scenic spots such as Wolf Valley, Swan Valley, and the winding Nine Turns and Eighteen Bends, where you can stop and explore.
