Just a short light rail ride from the city centre, it’s a vibrant mix of fresh catches, sashimi platters, oyster bars, and hot seafood cooked to order — all by the water. 🦐 10:00 AM – Arrival & First Impressions I arrived mid-morning to beat the lunch crowd. The smell of the sea and sizzling grills filled the air. It’s not just a market — it’s a full-on seafood experience with both retail and dine-in sections. 🍣 10:30 AM – Sashimi & Oyster Heaven My first stop? A sashimi plate — thick, melt-in-your-mouth slices of salmon, tuna, and kingfish. Then I treated myself to freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters — briny, creamy, and so fresh they practically tasted like the ocean. 🦀 11:30 AM – Cooked Seafood Feast I couldn’t resist the hot food section. I ordered a mix of grilled lobster, salt & pepper calamari, and a generous helping of fish and chips. Portions are big, so it’s perfect for sharing (or not 😄).
