Where nature’s filter creates the purest water on Earth - Blue spring💦 The water from Blue Spring is incredibly pure, with high clarity and low mineral content, making it ideal for bottling. It supplies about 70% of the country’s bottled water. The water in Blue Spring takes over 100 years to filter through underground rock and removing almost all the impurities and particles. It’s so clear and pure, making the blue spring water appears blue🩵 We took around 1h drive from Hamilton city to blue spring before to our final destination Rotorua. The walkway along the blue spring is about 3.8km long with easy walking track and we took around 1.5h to complete the round trip. 📌 Parking area: free but limited. It’s advice to go there early or park at the roadside if the main parking lot is full. 📌 Toilet: one public toilet is available and located halfway of the Blue Spring walkway (no flush function🙊 kindly prepare sanitizer or wet tissue) 🎫 It’s totally FREE to enter!
