The Blue Palace in St. Petersburg 🏰

Catherine Palace is an old castle that was damaged during World War II. It has been renovated and looks new. You can get there by bus or metro, but our family of 6 chose to hire a taxi. Outside, the garden is shady and spacious. There are food stalls where you can sit and eat in the garden. Inside, The Great Hall is the largest room in the palace. It is used to welcome guests and hold dance parties. On the day we went, there were a lot of tourists. This room looked small. The highlight here is The Amber Room, the only room in the palace where photography is prohibited.
