Backpacking in Kapas Island, Malaysia

This lesser known, laid back island in Terengganu is the perfect quick escape (only a 15 minutes speedboat ride to reach!) for those looking for a weekend getaway or anyone that would cost you minimal fees to get to. RM20 is enough to get you by camping sites - with cheap island entry. Do take note that there are jetty and marine park fees (RM5 per adult each, for Malaysians). Food is best at D'Seri Kapas Resort.
