Pivovarská Restaurace, a brewery restaurant in the Czech town of CK, is a place where you can drink and eat meat with big mouthfuls!

#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 After leaving Hasstatt, Austria, we took a shuttle to the fairytale town of Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. On the recommendation of the B&B owner, we visited Pivovarská Restaurace, the restaurant where he used to work, to taste the most authentic Czech beer and pork dishes. It was really the best portrayal of eating meat and drinking with big mouthfuls of wine! Pivovarská Restaurace has a very large brewery, and the restaurant looks like a cellar, as if you are dining in a historic beer brewing factory. The environment is quite relaxing and cozy, and it is super chill whether you are indoors or outdoors. Czech beer is really delicious and cheap, with the smallest cup starting at 500cc. It is very sweet and smooth, and cheaper than water! The pork dishes were also amazing. We ordered a large platter of various cooking methods. There were chewy, dense, and crispy pork dishes. All of them tasted delicious. Even the side dish of wasabi mashed potatoes was very appetizing. The restaurant's backyard is next to the river, and after dinner you can take a walk along the river to the old town. Daily life in Eastern Europe is indeed quite comfortable and relaxing. #CzechTravel #cktown
