Scenic driving route in the Alps

#Driving Bernina Pass is a route connecting the Engadin Valley in Switzerland and the Veltlin Valley in Italy. Because it cuts through the mountains, it is one of the highest roads and is also famous for its beautiful views. This route is open all year round. If you drive during winter, you must use winter tires that can run on snow and ice. In addition to being a great place to drive, this route also has a train track running parallel to it. The Bernina Express runs back and forth from the station in Chur in Switzerland and Tirano in Italy. However, we chose to drive because we wanted to stop and take pictures along the way. We also wanted to get a picture of the train track on the arched bridge, which is a popular photo spot for people driving this route. When we went in April, the snow had not melted yet, so the view was pure white mountains. Even the water in Lake Bianco was frozen. It was a beautiful, cold view but you could see the grandeur of the Alps in full view.
