BEST THINGS TO DO IN PORTOFINO 🇮🇹❤️ Who would love to explore Portofino? 😍 It is one of my fav places in Italy and a perfect destination for a day trip if u are in Cinque Terre. Here are my tips for your next visit to Portofino! Best things to do: 📸 -A coffee in the "Piazzetta" the heart of Portofino. -Go to Cannone Bay for the most Instagrammable shot -Visit Castello Brown for the most amazing views (Tip:wear comfortable shoes) -Visit church of St George, famous view point Best place to stay: 🏡 Portofino & Santa Margerita -Portofino: beautiful but expensive - Santa Margherita: beautiful town reachable in only 10 min by bus/car from Portofino with a lot of restaurants, shops and accomodation BEST PLACES TO SWIM: 🏖 - Cannone Bay: Most instagrammable spot, 10 min by foot from Portofino - Paraggi Bay: Crystal clear water and one of the most beautiful beaches on the Italian Riviera with beach clubs Tip: Go early if you want to enjoy the free beach of Paraggi) -Niasca Beach: Free beach located in a beautiful bay (Tip: go early and rent a Kyak) Best places to eat: 🍝 - Breakfast at @caffeexcelsiorportofino - Aperitivo at @lagrittaportofino - Lunch @ristorantedaigemelli Delicious seafood - Lunch or Dinner La Terrazza @belmondhotelsplendido Most iconic & restaurant in Portofino. Tip: (Book in advance) Tip: Take focaccia in the small local shops HOW TO ARRIVE TO PORTOFINO? 🚘 -You can take a boat from Genova Port or Santa Margherita Ligure. -By Car (Lack of parking. Parking costa 6€ per hour 20 euros€ for the day) -By public transport: Train to Santa Margherita Ligure. Outside the station, a minibus will take u to Portofino for 3 euros. (Tip: Buy the ticket in the train station and don't forget to validate) Best time to go: ☀️ May and June just before the traditional Italian summer vacations and September.
