Porto, Portugal: A City Full of Charm

Visiting Porto in winter turned out to be colder than expected, with many cloudy days. However, on days when the weather was good, the skies were incredibly clear, and it wasn’t too cold for winter. At first, I wondered if the old buildings might mean there wasn’t much to see, but the aged charm of the tightly packed structures with narrow entrances created a unique character for Porto. The city’s compact size made it easy to explore, though the hilly terrain requires some planning to navigate comfortably. I initially struggled to find my way to the second level of the Dom Luís I Bridge, but this challenge turned into a new experience that helped me better understand the city’s layout. Observing locals living in the steep areas made me wonder how they manage to get around. Porto is a city of romance. Although I was too tired to enjoy the nighttime views of the alleys, the city’s charm was undeniable. The views from spots overlooking the bridge and Ribeira Square were particularly stunning. Adding to the city’s charm was the green wine made in Portugal, which perfectly complemented the atmosphere. ❤️❤️
