Drawn to Poole, UK by a song, I had a superb experience at the Haven Hotel. "Take me home, country roads, to the place I belong." John Denver's song led me to the seaside town of Poole in the UK. I checked in to the Haven Hotel and embarked on an unforgettable British holiday. • Decor: The hotel features a classic British seaside style, with a refreshing and therapeutic blue and white color scheme. Marine elements such as shells and rudders can be seen everywhere, giving you a seaside vibe as soon as you enter. • Room Type/Layout: I chose a family suite, which was spacious and well-designed. The children's room was full of childlike fun, and there was a separate living room for the family to relax and entertain. The room had a great view of the town's streets and the sparkling sea in the distance. • Activities: There are many fun things to do around the hotel. Go surfing at Sandbanks beach and feel the passion of the sea, or take a boat trip through the harbor and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the coast. It's very relaxing. • Dining Features: The restaurant offers authentic British cuisine. The Wellington steak is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a rich meaty aroma. The bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast is made with fresh ingredients and homemade sauces. It's super satisfying with every bite. • Average Cost: About GBP 120–180, including accommodation, meals, and some activities. It's quite cost-effective. • Other Tips: The hotel's spa service is worth experiencing, so be sure to book in advance. The town's market is only open on Saturdays, where you can find many unique souvenirs. Don't miss it. My time at the Haven Hotel was my best memory in Poole. Accompanied by songs and beautiful scenery, I had a wonderful time.
