The Jiuzhaigou of Europe - Plitvice Lakes National Park

Plitvice Lakes National Park, also known as the Sixteen Lakes, is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Croatia. The park covers an area of 19,462 hectares, more than 70% of which is forest. There are 16 interconnected mountain lakes in the park, with an altitude difference of 133 meters from the first lake to the sixteenth lake. The Sixteen Lakes National Park is the most proud business card of Croatian tourism. The sixteen crystal clear lakes are naturally scattered along the mountains from high to low, and the ups and downs of the terrain have created hundreds of streams and waterfalls in the mountains. The lakes in the mountains are like human blood, flowing all the time, agile and quiet. Away from the world, from the moment you step into the national park, people embark on a magical journey of nature. There are 16 large lakes in the national park, and there are also limestone landforms such as waterfalls, rapids, and dark rivers. Due to the unique blue-green lakes in the limestone area, the dead trees in the lake are also covered with calcite, which is similar to Jiuzhaigou in China, so it is jokingly called "Jiuzhaigou in Europe". I think there are significant differences between the two: Jiuzhaigou is atmospheric, colorful, and hidden between the snow-capped mountains; while the sixteen lakes are like small jade, delicate and delicate, revealing a delicate beauty. Most importantly, the sixteen lakes have not yet been occupied by the crowds. Overlooking from the top of the cliff, the lakes of the Sixteen Lakes National Park are like a few jades, and the rapids next to them are like necklaces. The Sixteen Lakes is a string of lakes on the upper reaches of the Korana River. As soon as you enter the park, you will be attracted by the 78-meter-high Veliki Slap waterfall. Although the waterfall is high, the flowing water is like a beauty's hair, with two layers of cascading, revealing extraordinary soft beauty. The Korana River flows in the deep valley, forming countless large and small lakes. The rapids of the necklace are set off in it, setting off the verdant new leaves. The blue-green scenery evokes the endless spring.
