Checheng Township, Pingtung | Checheng Fu'an Temple

Checheng Fu'an Temple is known as the largest Tudigong temple in Taiwan and even in Southeast Asia. The gold furnace of Checheng Fu'an Temple is very famous. It is a four-story octagonal building and is known as the "God's money counting machine". When gold paper is placed at the mouth of the gold furnace, it will automatically fly into the furnace! (The flame in the furnace forms a cyclone, and the air will draw the gold paper in) The two large stone lions in front of the Fu'an Temple in Checheng are 9 feet 2 inches tall and long. They are pure stone sculptures with great artistic and historical significance in Taiwan. After worshipping, you can also go to the Pingtung Fu'an Temple Market nearby and take a few of the famous salted eggs home for safety!
