A trip to Kenting Sunshine Liv ☀️

A super beautiful place to stay if you would like to chill near to the Kenting Nanwan. However, not really recommend for family with elderly as there is no lift (i have to say the staircase’s a little bit dangerous) and you will need to carry the luggages on your own!!! A no no for my mum but believe group of friends who love the sea will love it so much!!! Ohh yah, its a bit pricey but normal for the tourist spot here !😅😅 #taiwan #kenting #Nanwan #Sunshineliv

Taiwan Indigenous Culture Park

It's about a 20-minute train ride from Kaohsiung to Pingtung Station. From there, it's another hour by bus to reach , located in the Sandimen area in the mountains. Buses don't run frequently, but if you leave in the morning you'll be able to catch the morning performance. We recommend taking the bus bound for Sandimen from the Pingtung bus stop. The park, which comes into view after crossing the beautiful bridge in Sandimen Village, is like a vast open-air museum showcasing the culture and lifestyles of indigenous peoples living throughout Taiwan. The buildings and costumes in the exhibition area are all beautiful, and attention to detail is evident in every detail. The traditional dance performances, held twice a day, are truly impressive. While photography is not permitted, it was a rare opportunity to experience the energy of the singing and dancing up close. A shuttle bus runs within the park, and staff will ask you where you'd like and guide you. The park was uncrowded on the day we visited, and the locals were friendly and helpful, playing Japanese music, giving us a warm welcome. During the walk, you can also enjoy local cuisine, such as steamed rice served in bamboo tubes. A relaxing experience of Taiwanese traditional culture in the quiet mountains was a highlight of my trip. I recommend checking your return bus schedule well in advance. The staff were very helpful, so I was able to return safely. Pingtung's mountainous area is a beautiful area with tropical scenery, including banana and palm plantations.
