| After 2 days, I finally captured the glowing Hanging Temple. I have always wanted to take pictures of Lingtongyan Temple in Zhangzhou, especially the scene of a waterfall falling from the sky. Last month, I deliberately chose a rainy day to climb the mountain. As I climbed, I thought: If there is a waterfall + rainbow + advection fog + golden light, the picture would be perfect. After waiting for half a day, I only captured the smoke from the firecrackers at the temple (Picture 5). - When we returned to the foot of the mountain, we were not discouraged. We checked the weather forecast and saw that it would rain the next day, so we immediately decided to climb again the next day. After another half-hour climb and another half-day wait, the rain still did not come. Just as it was getting dark and we were about to give up, a cloud of mist drifted in, as if a curtain had been drawn behind the Hanging Temple, and the temple glowed with a sacred light in the night (Pictures 1-3). - This is what landscape photography is all about. Wonders are always hard to come by. It is satisfying to capture the picture you imagined, but it is even more surprising to capture an unexpected wonder. -
